Alphacool's high-end solution for integration of Laing DDC-1T an DDC-1T Plus pumps into a cooling loop.
This Bay reservoir and pump top in one brings many advantage: Easy mounting, compact dimensions and appealing design! All of these features and many more are implemented in the Alphacool Repack Single Bayres. But Alphacool would not be Alphacool, if this new product would not also have some extremely interesting new features, which were not available until now!
The Alphacool Repack – Quad Laing DDC - Dual 5,25 Bay Station is designed for installation in the front of an enclosure. Two vacant 5.25” drive bays are needed. Pumps can be installed individually, in single-, triple-, and quad configuration. At the rear two dual pump terminals are available, allowing the following compatible configurations:
1x Pump terminal (second terminal sealed)
Single: One pump (the second pump connection terminal is sealed)
Dual: Two pumps, running in serial configuration
2x Pump terminal
Dual: Two pumps, one on each terminal, allowing parallel operation
Triple: Three pumps, two in serial configuration, one individually
Quad serial: Four pumps, two in parallel each, needs to be connected via additional fittings / tubing between IN and OUT
Quad parallel: Four pumps, two each in serial configuration can be operated in parallel, e.g. when using two loops fed by one reservoir.
New technologies implemented in the Alphacool Repack Dual Bayres:
So far everything sounds like a standard reservoir, but the developers have integrated some great features to improve the reservoir and its functionality:
Unlike most reservoirs, where the coolant is sent around multiple corners, still leaving micro-bubbles in the coolant, this reservoir utilizes a new technology: Both In- and Outlet openings are equipped with a special filter which eliminates even the smallest bubbles in the coolant!
Filling has always been a hassle with standard slot-in reservoirs: Unscrew, pull out, fill, push in and tighten screws again. Enough of this! The front of this reservoir has a filling straw which can be taken out by unscrewing it. As it is hollow, it can now be used for filling of the reservoir. We recommend using a filling bottle or funnel from our portfolio.
The front of the reservoir, the component which mainly remains visible after installation, is just beautiful to look at: Plexi, Acetal and a fill level indicator in combination with the typical Alphacool copper create a truly elegant design. Lighting is the next step towards a perfect system: At the rear of the reservoir, up to six 5mm LEDs can be inserted.
Highlight: From the top a 10cm long cold light cathode can be inserted! This is the ultimate lighting source four your reservoir. In combination with the LEDs it is even possible to have different colors inside of the reservoir. Especially with a Heatmaster as a controller, the possibilities are endless!

Note: The copper-colored logo is covered by a protective foil. To have the logo shining and clean, simply remove this foil.
Note regarding cathodes:
We have measured that the cathodes have manufacturing tolerances of up to 0.3mm, even amongst the cathodes in the same package. As the fit of the cathodes is meant to hold them in place, it might be that due to the tolerances the cathodes will not fit at first. The small amount of excess material can easily be removed with a few brushes of sandpaper.
