Alphacool's new Laing DDC Low Noise Edition for absolute silence!
The well-known Laing DDC pumps are getting a new addition. Though freshly packaged, this pump can begin its life with lots of self-confidence. A few details have been changed. First, we held back a little in performance in order to solve a widespread problem: the volume! Few other pumps can match this one in terms of reducing noise generation from water. For the most up-to-date water cooling systems with CPU and GPU cooling, this pump should be the first choice.
Unlike before, this pump does not come in the familiar plastic casing. It has an all-new perfectly tailored brass case casing its exterior. This new case ensures a longer lifespan for the pump. Air flows through the cooling fins, then over an interior thermal pad directly to the pump board.
Another feature is the included decoupling option when a pump top with an M4 fastening thread, such as the Alphacool Laing DDC Acetal Top, is in use. Through the special M4 screws, the included decoupling can be screwed into the heads of the screws, which is then reconnected to the casing.
The pump is shipped without a pump top to give you freedom in choosing a top.

The PWM function can only be used properly if your motherboard complies with the Intel PWM specifications.
The thermal pad is delivered in the pump casing. Please remove the protective film from the thermal pad before putting the pump into operation.
Notice for PWM motherboards
Due to their design, many newer motherboards no longer work with this pump. This can be recognized in that the pump runs either at full RPM or at a constant minimum, despite the motherboard requiring a higher/lower RPM, or in that the pump does not start at all. This problem can be solved by:
1) 1) Not connecting the signal cable to the motherboard anymore, so that the pump always runs at maximum RPM
